Listing Rules

Animal MarketPlace is a classifieds platform. Sellers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, permits, animal welfare rules, and any disease/movement restrictions.

✅ Allowed Generally allowed (if lawful)

• Common domestic pets and common farm animals (e.g. dogs, cats, chickens, cattle, goats, sheep), provided the listing is lawful and humane.
• Adoption / rehoming listings, provided they are honest and humane.
• Animal-related equipment and farm items.

🟡 Conditional Allowed only if you have required permits / authorisation

• Wildlife, indigenous wildlife, game, and exotic animals.
• Threatened or protected species.
• Alien or invasive species where “restricted activities” require permits.

If you list any of the above, you must have the correct permits and you may be asked to provide proof.

⛔ Not allowed Not allowed on this platform

• Any listing involving cruelty, neglect, fighting, or inhumane treatment.
• Any illegal sale/trafficking/poaching activity.
• Any restricted species without required permits.
• Any stolen animals or livestock where you cannot truthfully claim lawful ownership.
• Spam, scams, or misleading listings (fake photos, fake location, fake price, impersonation).
• Links in titles/descriptions intended to redirect users off-platform (we may remove these).

Safety tips (recommended)

• Meet in a safe public place where possible.
• Never share passwords, OTPs, banking PINs, or sensitive personal info.
• Trust your instincts—if it feels suspicious, don’t proceed.
